Love & Protest is a place to find what is happening near you and add your weight to it. Marches, vigils, rallies and community gatherings across the UK, laid out by date so the soonest is always first.
The name is the brief. Protest is the action. Love is the reason, and the way we want people to treat each other while they take it. We sit on the side of amplifying and connecting, not directing, and we mark the faith and cultural moments that matter to communities without ever wrapping them in a campaign.
Privacy comes first because of what this is. In this version the site is a curated, read-only calendar with no accounts, so there is no record of who is interested in what. Following, attending and notifications will come later, and only with the lightest data we can hold.
In these early days the team curates listings directly, alongside an open submission form. Every listing is reviewed by a person before it appears.
